| Most Important | |
| If this is new to you... | |
| or even explained a little different than before, AND you
have not as of yet accepted Jesus as the replacement for your sins (II
Corinthians 5:21 "God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in
him we might become the righteousness of God") and you'd like to do that,
all you have to do is tell that to God.
|
|
| I can't save you. | |
| Your religion can't save you. Only God's gift
of Jesus can. ("Salvation is found in
no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12) There is no other who came back to life. Jesus came back from the dead after three days, just as he said he would (Mark 16, John 20...). Why is that important? Because he was God!! He was the only one who had no sin and could pay the price and still live.
|
|
| Do you understand? | |
| If someone were to say, "I will pay the price of sin
for you", but had sin, how could he pay for yours as well? He would never come back to live because his sin (that "yeast" we all have and are born with) would condemn him. But this is also why God had to come in flesh and blood, (Hebrews 2:14) because it was flesh and blood that accepted this mess in the first place.

|
| It is my hope... | |
| you have understood your eternal state. And that we
all will live forever. What most of us don't realize, or sometimes prefer
to ignore, is that the wages of this sin we have will condemn us to hell,
a place of constant torment (Matt. 8:12, 10:28, Luke 12:5, Luke 16, 2
Peter 2:4). In light of this, isn't it amazing and humbling what Jesus did
for us on the cross? He paid for ALL sins. There is no sin that he won't
atone for. Ask him to change your life and eternal destiny today.
He is willing and able. Confused? Exhilarated? All the above? Feel free to email me with questions at becky@rowley.org
