" Brigadeiros"
(Brigadiers) A delicious Brazilian bon bon
You'll need:
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk -2 Tbs. margarine (or butter) -2 Tbs.
powdered chocolate
-Chocolate sprinkles
Mix ingredients together in a medium size pan and continue to stir over a
low flame. Continue stirring until mixture thickens and begins to unstick
from the bottom of the pan.
NOTE - Overcooking makes the dough crumble, but undercooked dough is sticky.
Once dough is ready, set aside to let cool. When cooled, rub butter on hands
(keeps dough from sticking to hands) and than form little balls
and roll in chocolate sprinkles. This makes a great dessert for parties.
